Vera Lopes

Vera Lopes has extensive experience in the field of handball and sports education. Currently serving as the Diretora Técnica at Federação de Andebol de Portugal since September 2019, Vera also holds the positions of Coordenadora and Treinadora at Gil Eanes Andebol since August 2017. Previous roles include Manager and Guide at musette.bike from April 2016 to September 2017, and a professional handball player with ÍBV Vestmannaeyjar and S. D. Itxako from August 2013 to June 2013. Vera began a long-term commitment as a Sports Teacher and Handball Player at Clube Desportivo da Escola Secundária Gil Eanes from August 2005 to July 2012. Educational qualifications include a Licenciatura in Educação Física from FMH - Faculdade Motricidade Humana, a Pós-Graduação in Ensino Especial from ISCIA, and a degree in Nadadora Salvadora from ISN - Instituto de Socorros a Naufragos.
