Maria Sande Sampaio

Maria Sande Sampaio is currently engaged in a professional internship at Galp since September 2024 and has been serving as an athlete on the Water Polo National team with the Federação Portuguesa de Natação since September 2016. Maria held a research scholarship at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from November 2023 to July 2024, contributing to projects focused on teaching improvement through Project-Based Learning and evaluating building comfort performance, culminating in collaborative article development. Previously, Maria was a member of MecanIST at Fórum Mecânica from October 2021 to September 2022. Maria holds a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary and Innovative Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (2022-2024) and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (2019-2022).
