Thomas Broderick

Thomas Broderick is a highly experienced materials engineer with a robust career spanning over four decades in advanced manufacturing and materials. Currently serving as the Chief Scientific and Technical Advisor for the Federal Aviation Administration, Thomas previously held roles such as Principal Materials Engineer at AFRL Materials and Manufacturing Directorate, and various engineering positions at GE Aviation, where contributions included guiding materials engineering for future engine designs and addressing manufacturing challenges. Educational background includes a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University, complemented by master's and bachelor's degrees in the same field from the University of Dayton and Wright State University, respectively. Thomas has also led research initiatives and development programs aimed at innovating new materials and processes for aerospace applications.
