Unit Chief, Cyber Technical Analysis Unit at Federal Bureau of Investigation

David Martin possesses extensive experience in cyber investigations, currently serving as Unit Chief of the Cyber Technical Analysis Unit at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) since July 2009. Martin has held various leadership positions within the FBI, including Supervisory Special Agent roles in the Advanced Digital Forensics Program and Cyber Action Team, where expertise in intrusion analysis and malware reverse engineering has been showcased. With a background in managing technical operations to counter high-priority cyber threats, Martin also brings prior experience from the Littleton Police Department and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Information Security Engineering from SANS Technology Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Denver.
