Sean Mehr

Sean Mehr, CPA, CFE, is a forensic accountant currently employed at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), a position held since September 2023. Previously, Sean served as an auditor at the U.S. Department of Education Office of Inspector General from December 2021 to September 2023, and as a staff auditor and data analyst at Withum from October 2019 to December 2021, focusing on multi-employer benefit plans and ERISA. Other roles include an export intern at Nobilium, a financial and administrative assistant at Opera At Florham, and a tax intern at Withum. Sean holds a Master of Science in Forensic Accounting from the University at Albany and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
