Alix Desulme

Alix Desulme serves as an Advisory Committee Member at the Federal Communications Commission since February 2024 and has been the Mayor of the City of North Miami since June 2015, holding the positions of Vice Mayor and Councilman prior to that. As Vice Mayor, Alix Desulme presides over city council meetings in the absence of the mayor and has authority over appointments and removals within various boards and committees. Additionally, Alix Desulme has worked as an Education Consultant at ELB Global US since October 2016 and has been an Adjunct Professor at St. Thomas University since March 2013. Previous experience includes a teaching role at Miami-Dade County Public Schools from March 1998 to June 2015. Alix Desulme holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Transformative Leadership from the University of New England and a Master's of Science and Bachelor's of Arts degrees from St. Thomas University.
