Ahmed (Alex) Fayed is an experienced professional in financial institution risk management, currently serving as Assistant Director in the Institution Risk Branch at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since August 2009. In this role, Fayed assists senior leadership in analyzing complex financial institutions and provides insights for legislative review and the development of new policies. Previously, Fayed held positions as Chief of the Institution Risk Branch and Senior Examiner for Large Financial Institutions, as well as a role at the U.S. Department of the Treasury focusing on international banking and regulatory strategies.
