Chester Polson is a Senior Financial Economist at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since July 2015, with previous experience as a Financial Economist. Chester served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin from August 2010 to May 2015, developing skills in offering constructive feedback on writing and assisting non-native speakers. Prior experience includes a role as Program Director at Manna Project International, where coordination and expansion of various educational programs took place, and a position as a Student Recycling Technician at Vanderbilt University Recycling Center, focusing on training and enhancing recycling operations. Chester holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics and a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and English from Vanderbilt University. Currently, Chester is pursuing education at the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking from 2023 to 2025.
