Jessica Dearie

Jessica Dearie is an accomplished content strategist currently serving at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since February 2024. With a long-standing commitment to open-source collaboration, Jessica has acted as Director and board member of Drupal4Gov since January 2013, advancing resources for a community dedicated to supporting government agencies. Prior to joining the FDIC, Jessica held various roles at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), contributing as an IT Specialist and intranet lead, managing complex projects utilizing Drupal and ensuring compliance with government standards. Jessica also served in leadership capacities within the District of Columbia Air National Guard, including as Acting State Command Chief, where responsibilities encompassed mission effectiveness and personnel readiness. Jessica's early career included significant IT roles at the U.S. Department of State, with a focus on improving internet technologies for business processes. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Liberty University.
