Ramesh Kolluru

Ramesh Kolluru is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in research, innovation, and economic development. Currently serving as a Member of the Supervisory Board at FEMA and the Vice President of Research, Innovation, and Economic Development at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Ramesh provides strategic direction to over 15 research centers, including a major non-human primate research center and a Center of Excellence in Big Data. Ramesh has previously held significant roles, including Chief Innovation Officer at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Executive Director of the National Incident Management Systems and Advanced Technologies Institute. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a strong background in technology-based economic development, Ramesh has actively fostered innovation and collaboration across various sectors, enhancing research translation into commercial applications.
