Ricky Galan

Ricky Galan is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in disaster response and technology management, currently serving as the National IMAT White - IT Service Branch Director at FEMA since July 2016. In this role, Ricky leads the setup and management of IT infrastructure during disaster deployments, ensuring compliance and connectivity. Previous positions include the IT Communication Unit Lead and IT Specialist/System Administrator, where responsibilities spanned incident communications infrastructure and network management. Ricky's background also includes serving as Network Support Manager for Gulf Coast Behavioral Clinic, Campus Technology Technician for Corpus Christi Independent School District, and various technical roles in engineering and shop environments. Ricky holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance and has participated in the Joint Mission Fellowship Program focused on Leadership and Grand Strategy.
