Sumayya Menk

Sumayya Menk is currently serving as a Regional Preparedness Liaison at Teracore, Inc., providing consultancy services to the U.S Department of Homeland Security, FEMA's National Preparedness Division since June 2020. Prior experience includes roles as an Admissions Office Recruitment Assistant and Mentor at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, an intern at the Administration for Children and Families, and positions at RefugeeOne and the Illinois Association for Infant Mental Health. Sumayya has also contributed as an Administrative Assistant at Loyola University Chicago School of Social Work and as a Linkage Intern at Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Social Service from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago.
