Tom Sowa

Tom Sowa has extensive experience in communication and disaster recovery, currently serving as a Reservist in External Affairs at FEMA since March 2017, where responsibilities include federal disaster recovery efforts. Previously, Tom worked as a journalist at The Spokesman-Review from 2003 to 2014. Tom holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Reed College, attended from 1968 to 1972, and furthered education at the University of Oregon School of Journalism in 1974-1975.
