Craig Lapine

Craig LaPine is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in intelligence operations and emergency response. Currently serving as a Special Agent at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission since June 2022, LaPine has an accomplished military background, having retired from the United States Marine Corps after serving from August 2017. Previous roles include Director of Emergency Response Planning at BELFOR Alert and COO at PrePlanLive, where expertise in threat and vulnerability assessments was developed. As the M2X Chief for the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity, LaPine played a pivotal role in coordinating counterintelligence and human intelligence activities, providing senior enlisted advisory support. Additional experience includes key leadership positions within the Marine Corps, such as HUMINT Programs & Policy Chief and Counterintelligence Chief for Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1), where responsibilities extended to supporting presidential travel. LaPine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Intelligence Studies with a concentration in Intelligence Operations from American Military University.
