Katherine Scott has extensive experience in energy regulation, currently serving as a Supervisory Energy Industry Analyst in the Office of Energy Market Regulation at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission since May 2014. In this role, Katherine manages a team of analysts focused on the Eastern Regional Transmission Organizations/Independent System Operators, overseeing research related to regulatory filings and public policy. Katherine's prior roles include Energy Industry Analyst and a student trainee at FERC, as well as internships in the U.S. House of Representatives and at the GW Solar Institute. Katherine has also worked in outreach and policy efforts in the clean energy sector for organizations such as the North Carolina Solar Center and the North Carolina Department of Commerce.
