Shaheer Rahman

Shaheer Rahman is an Economist at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, working in the Office of Energy Market Regulation since October 2023. Previously, Shaheer served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Intern at Sai University, assisting Professor Sherman Teichman in the Global Challenges Colloquium from October 2021 to May 2023. Additional experience includes internships with the U.S. House of Representatives, the Muslim Public Affairs Council Foundation, and various organizations, focusing on policy advocacy and legislative support. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology from Sciences Po. Shaheer also holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Allen High School.
