Eric Leach began their work experience in 1987 as a member of the US Army, serving in the First Infantry Division during the First Gulf War. Eric received the Bronze Star for their bravery and commitment during the conflict. After leaving the military in 1991, they worked at Global Village providing third-tier support for Windows-based software solutions and training support desk personnel. In 1997, Leach joined InterTech as a manager of engineering, where they obtained the MCSE certification and oversaw QA testers, support personnel, and sales engineers. From 1999 to 2003, they worked at Bellsouth.net, later contracted out to Accenture, as a manager of infrastructure, managing a team and overseeing servers, network, and SAN infrastructure. Since 2003, Leach has been with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, serving as the First Vice President and Director of IT Infrastructure. In this role, they manage multiple teams and systems, acts as a subject matter expert for critical customer-facing systems, and oversees a large portfolio of vendors.
Eric Leach attended Dekalb Community College from 1992 to 1996, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Eric did not obtain a degree during this time.
