Steve Franke

Steve Franke is an accomplished risk management professional with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as Lead Risk Analyst at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago since December 2018, Steve plays a crucial role in promoting a risk-intelligent culture and overseeing the Bank’s Mortgage Partnership Finance program. Prior to this position, Steve held various roles at Fannie Mae from 1998 to 2018, including Senior Account Manager and Credit Risk Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing relationships with major clients and overseeing credit risk. Additionally, Steve worked at Freddie Mac in multiple capacities from 1991 to 1997, focusing on loss mitigation and asset management.
