Jason Mora

Jason Mora has a diverse range of work experience. Jason started their career as an Associate Research Scientist at NASA Ames Research Center, where they conducted projects related to the physiological effects of metabolic control in non-hibernating mice and the evaluation of handheld Raman spectrometers.

In 2015, Jason worked as a Test Engineer at Larson Automation, where they performed root-cause analysis, software validation, and quality assurance processes to ensure optimal performance and high-quality products.

Jason then joined the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco in 2023 as an Associate Director of Data Science and Risk Analytics.

Prior to that, Jason worked at Emodo as a Sr. Data Analyst and Digital Insights Analyst. In these roles, they generated actionable insights using machine learning and statistical inference techniques, developed automation tools for data cleaning and outlier detection, and created ETL pipelines for report generation and data visualization.

Before Emodo, Jason worked at California State University, Hayward as an Associate Research Scientist, where they focused on developing analytical techniques for big data analysis in the search for dark matter.

Jason Mora completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Mathematics from California State University - East Bay. Jason attended the university from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from the same university, attending from 2013 to 2015.
