Shirley B.

Shirley B. began their work experience in 2012 as a Business Analyst Intern at Blue Cross & Blue Shield. In 2012, they also worked as a Staff Auditor at Woori America Bank. Shirley then moved on to Apple Bank in 2015, where they served as a Senior Auditor and took on additional responsibilities as a system admin for a newly adopted AutoAudit application. In 2016, Shirley joined TIAA as an Internal Auditor, focusing on Asset Management and Risk Management. Shirley performed annual risk assessments, continuous monitoring, and issue validation. Shirley then joined the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco in 2017 as an Associate Director in Internal Audit. There, they served as the Auditor-In-Charge for operational, financial, regulatory compliance, and SOX audits. Shirley enhanced the audit methodology by applying data analytics and application controls. In 2020, Shirley transitioned to the role of Associate Director for Credit Process Innovation & Counterparty Credit, where they were the Product Owner of Moody's CreditLens underwriting system and led business future state design efforts. Currently, Shirley holds the position of Associate Director in Enterprise Risk Management at the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco.

Shirley B. has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance from Johnson & Wales University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Trade and Economics from Yanbian University of Science & Technology. Shirley also participated in an exchange program at Yonsei University, where they studied International Economics.

Shirley B. has also completed various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. This includes the Management Accelerator Program from McKinsey & Company, the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance, the Communicating Change in an Enterprise-Wide Transformation certification from LinkedIn, and the Design Thinking Bootcamp from Stanford University. Additionally, they are a Certified Internal Auditor, obtained from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc.
