Chris Gurr

Chris Gurr is an experienced law enforcement professional with a diverse background in training and operations. Currently serving as a Senior Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers since April 2016, Chris specializes in use of force, scenario development, and training for both advanced and basic police officers. Previous roles include Law Enforcement Specialist Instructor at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi and Canine Trainer/Handler at Marine Corps Logistics Base, where Chris managed Explosives Detection and Narcotics Detection K9s. Additional experience encompasses positions as a Police Officer and Canine Handler in the Marine Corps Police Department, Security Forces in the US Air Force Reserve, and Combat Medic in the United States Army. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Youth Ministry and an Associate of Arts degree, both from Toccoa Falls College.
