Lyla Zeidan is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Attorney Advisor and Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers since January 2024. Additionally, Lyla is a Board Member and Secretary at the Institute for Constitutional Policing, where the mission focuses on fostering trust between law enforcement and communities. As a Lead Instructor and Coordinator at LEA ONE since February 2020, and previously as Legal Program Manager and Instructor at the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy (July 2012 - December 2023), Lyla has contributed significantly to legal education and training. Lyla co-founded and co-directed Hope's Kitchen Soup Kitchen Ministry from February 2014 to September 2016 and worked as a Senior Assistant and Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Virginia Beach from August 2003 to June 2012. Lyla holds a Doctor of Law degree from Regent University School of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from East Tennessee State University.

The Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) serves as an interagency law enforcement training organization for more than 118 federal agencies or participating organizations. In addition, FLETC provides training and training resources to state, local, tribal, territorial, campus, and international law enforcement.
