Dan Sims

Dan Sims currently serves as the Manager of the Office of Conflict Management and Prevention and holds the title of Commissioner at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service since January 2017. Prior to this role, Dan was the Labor Relations Manager & Counsel at Jewel-Osco from January 2015 to January 2017 and worked as a Staff Attorney/Regional Director for AFSCME Council 79 between October 2011 and December 2014. Earlier career experiences include roles as an English Teacher at Coen in 2010, Purchasing Coordinator at Walgreens from November 2007 to August 2008, and Account Executive for the Daytona Cubs Professional Baseball team in 2007. Dan holds a B.S. in Business Management from Truman State University and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Ohio Northern University—Claude W. Pettit College of Law.
