Jim Albano

Jim Albano is an experienced labor relations professional currently serving as Commissioner at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service since April 2016. Previously, Jim held the position of Director of Labor & Employee Relations at Aramark Uniform Services, where responsibilities included managing over 35 bargaining agreements for approximately 1500 employees, and providing guidance on various employee relations matters. Prior to that role, Jim was Assistant Vice President of Labor Relations at Kansas City Southern Railway, contributing significantly to national bargaining efforts and overseeing a team of labor relations professionals. Jim's career also includes experience as an attorney at Johnson Thompson LLP, specializing in commercial contracts and labor law, and as Director of Labor Relations at Union Pacific Railroad. Additionally, Jim served as an adjunct instructor for a paralegal program. Jim holds a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University.
