Jim Stokes currently serves as Special Counsel, Arbitrator, and Magistrate at James D. Stokes, PA since July 2011. In addition to this role, Jim holds positions as Assistant District Legal Officer and Civil Rights Coordinator with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary since 2015. Jim has been a Labor Arbitrator for both the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service since 2013 and the National Mediation Board since 2016, as well as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association since 2012, specializing in commercial, general, and labor disputes. Jim obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) from Southwestern Law School (1993-1995), a Master’s Degree in Theology and Liturgical Studies from the University of Notre Dame (2010-2014), and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Redlands (1991-1993).
