Liz Brenner

Liz Brenner serves as the Commissioner of Mediation at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service since March 2018, where responsibilities include mediating disputes and actively participating in various stages of the collective bargaining process. Prior experience includes roles in human resources at the U.S. District Court - District of Minnesota and the Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as workforce relations at Thrivent Financial and employment counseling at HIRED. Liz Brenner holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Development from the University of Minnesota, and an Associate of Arts from Minneapolis College.
