Stuart MacDonald

Stuart MacDonald is the Vice President of Regional Development at Federal Realty Investment Trust. Stuart has over 25 years of experience in the architecture and construction industry. Stuart has managed the planning, design, entitlement and construction for complex public/private development projects. These projects include over 1,000 beds of student housing for the California State University system and a transit oriented mixed use development project for the Bay Area Rapid Transit District. Stuart has also served as an analyst for the Department of Defense's military housing privatization program conducting value analysis and quality control of housing privatization program (military installations throughout US). Prior to their current position, Stuart was the Associate and Sr. Project Manager at Studios Architecture where they managed design services for corporate campuses and research & development facilities for the information technology industry. Some of their major projects include the Googleplex (formerly SGI North Charleston Campus, Mountain View CA) & Google Crittenden Campus, (formerly SGI Crittenden Campus, Mountain View CA), Accenture, Central London Headquaters, London UK, Charles Schwab, information technology & enterprise group facility, San Francisco CA, Marconi Communications, research & development campuses, Pittsburgh PA, Coventry UK (masterplanning), Genoa, Italy (masterplanning), 3 Com, research & development campus, Milipitas CA, Silicon Graphics Inc. Stuart MacDonald studied architecture at the University of California, Berkeley and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
