Amanda Nicewander

Amanda Nicewander has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Amanda started their career as a Staff Reporter at The Thomaston Times, where they covered local news and gained experience in editing, design, and photography. Amanda then moved on to IHG, where they served as a Community Affairs Specialist, managing corporate responsibility programs and overseeing a large budget. After that, they joined For Momentum, LLC as an Account Executive, where they managed marketing and sales activities for a cause marketing agency and supported strategic partnership development. Most recently, Amanda worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, initially as a Senior Community Relations Manager and later as the Public Outreach Director. In these roles, they managed community relations programs, directed community outreach efforts, and developed initiatives to strengthen the bank's reputation. Amanda also provided strategic support to the bank's president and first vice president as the Corporate Relations Director. Throughout their career, Amanda has demonstrated strong skills in communications, program management, and strategic planning.

Amanda Nicewander attended The University of Georgia and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, with a focus on Public Relations, in 2002. Additionally, they also completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at The University of Georgia in the same year.
