Ryan Clougherty

Ryan Clougherty is an assistant vice president and assistant general counsel in the Legal Department. Ryan joined the Bank in February 2021 as a Risk Manager in the Credit Policy area of the Supervision, Regulation & Credit department. Ryan advises on issues related to bank supervision and financial stability. He also provides legal support for the Federal Reserve’s discount window lending and credit risk management functions and advises on bank application-related and Main Street Lending Program matters.

Prior to joining the Boston Fed, Ryan worked as an Honors Attorney at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and as associate general counsel at CIBC Bank USA in Chicago. Ryan received his bachelor’s degree from Wabash College and a joint Juris Doctor/MBA from Suffolk University Law School/Sawyer School of Management.
