Emma Weiss

Emma Weiss currently serves as a Senior Financial Markets Specialist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago since April 2024. Previously, Emma worked as a Policy & Markets Associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from February 2014 to April 2024. Earlier experience includes serving as Associate Director of Research and Special Projects at The Paulson Institute and working as an intern and China Markets Correspondent at Reuters. Emma's career began with roles as a News Assistant at Asahi Shimbun and an intern at Visa, as well as a Research Associate at the Congressional-Executive Commission on China. Emma holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and China Studies from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, a Certificate in China Studies and Economics from the Hopkins-Nanjing Center, and a Bachelor's Degree in East Asian Studies from Yale University. Emma completed early education at Holton-Arms School.
