Nathan Anderson

Nathan Anderson is a seasoned economist and legal professional, currently serving as a Senior Economist and Economic Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago since September 2019, with previous roles including Vice President and Assistant Vice President. Prior to this, Nathan worked as a Tax Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP from October 2014 to June 2019 and completed a Judicial Externship at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in late 2013. Nathan's academic experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago from August 2005 to May 2013. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) in Tax Law/Taxation from Northwestern University School of Law, a PhD in Public Finance (taxation) from the University of Michigan, and a BA in Economics from Case Western Reserve University.
