Chris Hyer

Chris Hyer has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1998 as a Senior Project Manager at MTA - Management Technology of America. During their time there, they directed and managed the consulting department and implemented various corporate-wide projects.

In 2004, Hyer joined DHL as a Project Manager, where they created and delivered a process framework and methodology for managing a $90 million IT portfolio. Chris also led the implementation of PlanView Enterprise Edition for portfolio management.

Hyer then worked at Salt River Project (SRP) as a Senior Project Manager, where they developed and implemented methodologies and processes for a new project management organization.

In 2007, they joined YRC Worldwide as a Senior Project Manager, responsible for delivering a system consolidation and development project. Chris also developed project plans, maintained estimates, and coordinated changes across projects.

From 2008 to 2013, Hyer worked as a Project Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, where they developed integrated project plans and implemented a central SharePoint reporting site.

Chris then joined Assurant Employee Benefits in 2013 as a Project Manager, providing regular communication of project status and resolving conflicts between participants.

Hyer returned to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 2013 for their most recent role as a Product Manager / Director. In this position, they established the product strategy, provided leadership for a suite of products, and set goals for the teams. Chris also provided leadership and direction for project managers, scrum masters, and product owners.

Overall, Hyer has extensive experience in project and product management, leadership, and process implementation.

Chris Hyer has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and International Studies from Kansas State University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1994. Chris also has a Master's degree in International Management, specifically an MBA, from Thunderbird School of Global Management, which they obtained from 1996 to 1997. In addition to their academic qualifications, they hold various certifications such as Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, Professional Scrum Product Owner I, Professional Scrum Master I, Project Management Professional, Prince 2 / Prince II - Foundation, Prince 2 / Prince II Practitioner, Certified SAFe 5 Agile Product Manager, Certified SAFe 5 Agilist, and Certified SAFe 5 Product Owner/Product Manager.
