Huixin Bi currently serves as a Research and Policy Officer and previously held the title of Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City since October 2015. Prior experience includes working as an Economist at the Bank of Canada from August 2010 to September 2015, and internships at the International Monetary Fund and the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 2009. Huixin Bi holds a PhD in Economics from Indiana University Bloomington, earned between 2005 and 2010, as well as a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2005, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nankai University from 1999 to 2003.
