James Vickery currently serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Real Estate at The Wharton School and as a Senior Economic Advisor and Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. With extensive experience in academia, Vickery held positions as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Finance and Visiting Assistant Professor at NYU Stern School of Business from 2007 to 2019, and served as Assistant Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for 15 years. Early in the career, Vickery worked as a Research Analyst at the Reserve Bank of Australia. Vickery earned a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Economics from UNSW.
