Robert Hunt has a diverse work experience in the financial sector. Robert began their career as a Research Analyst at Bank One, Indianapolis, NA in 1987. Robert then worked as an Associate Analyst at Congressional Budget Office from 1995 to 1998. Robert joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia in 1998 as a Senior Economist and held this position until 2008. From 2009 to 2016, they served as the Vice President and Director of the Payment Cards Center at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President and Associate Director of the Consumer Finance Institute at the same organization, which they have held since 2017.
Robert Hunt obtained a B.A. degree in Economics and Political Science from Butler University, where they attended from 1982 to 1986. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania between 1989 and 1995.
