Leonard Johns

Leonard Johns is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in crisis management, law enforcement, and risk mitigation. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief of Police for Banking operations at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond since January 2018, Leonard oversees high-performing teams dedicated to the resilience of critical infrastructure. Prior roles include Assistant Vice President, focusing on risk mitigation and business continuity, and a distinguished career at the FBI from June 1997 to December 2017 as a Senior Executive, highlighted by leadership during the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Additionally, Leonard served in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel after a career that included roles in recruitment and security forces. Leonard holds a Bachelor's degree in General Sciences from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master's degree in Human Resource Management/Development from Chapman University.
