Ryan Merriam

Ryan Merriam is a senior manager in the Technology Risk Supervision Program at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, leading a team of cybersecurity supervision specialists in support of the Federal Reserve's Horizontal Cybersecurity Supervision Program for Large and Foreign Banking Organizations. Previously, Ryan has held roles as the LBO Risk Team Leader and Senior Manager for a team of examiners focused on regional banking organizations. Experience also includes conducting horizontal reviews at the Federal Reserve Board and serving as a Senior Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, demonstrating expertise in banking activities and risk management. Ryan holds a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Finance from James Madison University, along with a Bachelor's Certificate in Accounting from Strayer University.
