Michael Nimis

Michael Nimis has a strong background in data analysis and financial monitoring, with extensive experience in the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Michael started their career at the bank in 1996 as a Reports Analyst and later became a Technical Specialist. In 2006, they transitioned to the role of Senior Financial Analyst, where they conducted off-site monitoring of small bank holding companies and depository institutions. From 2014 to 2020, Michael served as a Sr. Supervisory Analyst, where they were responsible for data sourcing and designing Tableau dashboards for risk coordinators and bank portfolio managers. Michael also led the Banking Profiles Program, generating statistical metrics used in FRB San Francisco publications. As of July 2020, Michael is currently working as the Lead IT Business Analyst, utilizing their expertise in data analysis and business systems.

Michael Nimis earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications such as Introduction to Cloud Computing for IT Pros from LinkedIn and certifications as a Certified Signing Agent, Notary Signing Agent, and Notary Public from various institutions.
