Vanessa Chan

Vanessa Chan is a Senior Risk Specialist at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, having progressed from Associate Examiner to Commissioned Examiner before assuming the current role as IT/Cyber Risk Specialist. This position, held since May 2021, follows an earlier tenure as a Financial Institutions Examiner at the California Department of Financial Institutions. Prior experience includes serving as a Finance Analyst at The Clorox Company and a Software Engineering Intern at Cisco Systems. Vanessa holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
