David Cecil

David Cecil is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong focus on firmware development and electrical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior C++ Firmware Engineer at Federal Signal Corporation since April 2016, David has also founded BimmerBoard.com and held various leadership roles, including Principal Firmware Engineer at Matrix Design Group, Inc., and Director of Engineering at USA Firmware, LLC. David's extensive background includes technical leadership in firmware development for embedded systems at companies such as Flextronics and Equinox Payments, as well as R&D roles at Lexmark International, Inc. and Apollo Fire Detectors. Academically, David holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
