Dennis J. Martin

Dennis J. Martin is the current Chairman at Federal Signal. Dennis has previously served as Chairman and CEO of GBC from May 2001 to August 2005, during which they led a successful transformation and turnaround process. Dennis has also served as a Director (retired) of HNI Corporation from August 2000 to May 2016, during which time they worked closely with management to enhance Rapid Continuous Improvement using 80/20 principles. Prior to that, they were Executive V.P. of ITW from February 1991 to May 2001, during which time they served as President Miller Electric, Hobart Brothers and EVP of ITW. Dennis transformed the family business acquired by ITW via internal growth and acquisition into a major industrial power house. Dennis also transformed sales, marketing and manufacturing to the highest current standards by teaming with existing management.

Dennis J. Martin has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of New Haven.
