Valeria Piña

Valeria Piña is an experienced professional in translation and localization, currently serving as a Translation Project Manager at Federal Student Aid, Office of the U.S. Department of Education since June 2020. Previous roles include Spanish Translator at the U.S. Census Bureau, Localization Operations/Spanish Reviewer at Lilt, and Language Specialist for LATAM Spanish at eBay. Valeria has also worked as a Freelance LATAM Spanish Translator for Flipboard and held positions such as AI Copywriter/Translator at Samsung, Community Manager at Wikia, and Business Development & Growth for LATAM at Gigya. Valeria began a career in communications as a Communications Assistant at the Library of Congress. Academically, Valeria holds a Master of Arts in Translation from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
