Joanne Ko Zhou

Joanne Ko Zhou is a Digital Translation Project Manager at the City and County of San Francisco, overseeing the human translations process for digital services since January 2023. Prior to this role, Joanne served as a Project Manager at RWS from April 2017 to December 2022, managing various translation and localization projects in the pharmaceutical sector, while also holding positions as an Associate Project Manager and Project Coordinator. Earlier experience includes freelance translation, editing, and project management roles in multiple organizations, including North East Medical Services, where medical documentation transitions from paper to electronic formats were facilitated. Joanne holds a Master of Science in Translation from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese and Japanese from the University of California, Davis.
