Susan Musser

Susan Musser currently serves as Deputy Chief Trial Counsel at the Federal Trade Commission since May 2020, previously holding the role of Senior Trial Counsel. Prior to this position, Susan Musser worked at Hogan Lovells as a Senior Associate from August 2017 to May 2020, focusing on white collar investigations and litigation. Earlier experience includes serving as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice from October 2011 to August 2017 and as a Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Missouri from August 2010 to August 2011, where responsibilities included drafting and editing judicial opinions and writing memoranda on various motions. Susan Musser holds a Juris Doctor degree from Saint Louis University School of Law, earned between 2007 and 2010.
