Jane al-Tamimi

Jane Al-Tamimi serves as the Assistant Director of Student Support at Federal Way Public Schools since September 2017, overseeing Special Education instructional leadership and compliance support for area 2 schools, along with supervising school psychologists. Previous roles include Interim Assistant Director for Student Support Services and Student Support Services Program Specialist at Clover Park School District from July 2014 to June 2017, and Elementary School Principal with Olympia School District from August 2005 to June 2014. In earlier positions, Jane was an Assistant to the Principal, contributing to daily school management, and a Special Education Teacher at both Mt. Adams School District and Olympia School District, working with a range of disabilities, including autism and cognitive impairments. Jane holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Special Education and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Education from Heritage University in Washington, USA.
