Thomas Scherr

Thomas Scherr, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with significant experience in portfolio management and investment analysis. Currently serving as Vice President and Portfolio Manager/Senior Investment Analyst at Federated Hermes since July 2006, Thomas analyzes sectors including Food and Beverage, Consumer Products, and Restaurants for over $12 billion in high-yield and leveraged assets, contributing to the strong performance of high-yield products such as the Federated Institutional High Yield Bond Fund. Prior experience includes a role as Treasury Analytics Analyst and AVP at Bank One from February 2001 to July 2004, where quantitative analysis and forecasting for asset/liability management were key responsibilities. Thomas holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and a BS in Finance from Lehigh University.
