Jonathan Wilson

Jonathan Wilson has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and journalism. Jonathan is currently serving as the Associate Director of Communications at the Federation of American Scientists since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at WAMU 88.5 from 2008 to 2022, holding various roles including Afternoon/Evening Host, Reporter & Fill-in Anchor, and Youth Voices Coordinator. Jonathan gained reporting experience at KARK-TV from 2006 to 2008 as a General Assignment Reporter, covering topics such as school board politics, local crime, and tornado damage. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a General Assignment Reporter at WANE-TV, focusing on local plant closings and a major ice storm. Before starting their career, they interned at Nightline/This Week with George Stephanopolous in 2003, assisting with research and contributing to editorial meetings. Jonathan also worked as a Reporter at KTVQ for a short period in 2003. Their early experience includes a role as a Legal Reporter at Medill News Service in 2003, and a Local News Internship at WRC-TV, NBC 4 in 2001. Jonathan Wilson attended Middlebury College from 1998 to 2002, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Literature. Subsequently, from 2002 to 2003, they pursued a Master of Science in Journalism degree with a concentration in Broadcasting at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
