Shannon Koonce Becks

Shannon Koonce Becks currently serves as the Director of Policy Fellowships at the Federation of American Scientists since May 2023. Additionally, Shannon has an extensive tenure at the American Society for Engineering Education, starting in January 2008, where Shannon has held multiple positions including Senior Program Director, FRO Team Lead, Program Director, and Program Manager. Shannon earned a Master of Science in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Trinity Washington University between 2011 and 2013 and holds a degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, obtained from 2000 to 2005.
