Chaoyang He

Aiden Chaoyang Aiden is the Co-Founder, Board Director, and CTO at FedML. Prior to that, they were a Research Scientist at Google, Facebook, and Amazon, focusing on federated learning and distributed training for foundation models. Before that, they worked as an Engineering Manager and Principal Engineer at Tencent, Team Leader, and Senior Software Engineer at Baidu, and as a Software Engineer at Huawei Technologies. Aiden also works as an Early Stage Investor and holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. Their interests lie in generative AI, LLM, AI software Infra, and other deep tech areas.
