Claire Wellington

Claire Wellington is an accomplished legal and governance professional with extensive experience in nonprofit and government sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President, Legal and Governance Officer at Feeding America since April 2017, Claire has previously held senior leadership roles at Independent Sector and served as Vice President and General Counsel for the American Association of Exporters and Importers. Claire's earlier experience includes a key position as Chief of Staff for Enforcement at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Claire holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Columbia University, and an AB in Government from Smith College.
